About the Methodist Church

The Methodist Church is committed to ‘Justice, Dignity and Solidarity’.

We believe that all people are uniquely made in the image of God, and we aim to live this out in the Church and in our communities.

The calling of the Methodist Church is to respond to the gospel of God's love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission.

Local Community Groups & Events

MCC is home to several local community groups and activities; many of whom we have enjoyed a long and happy history with.

The uniformed organisations meet here weekly (Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies & Guides), along with St John Ambulance and Crumpsall Concert Band, and local charity, Rainbow Surprise, run a events based at our Church.

Other fellowships also use our premises:  GFACC, an Ethiopian Church; and the Zimbabwean Methodist Fellowship who meet each Sunday afternoon.

History

The Methodist Church here in Crumpsall was opened in 1976 and was formed out of the coming together of Crumpsall Park Methodist Church and Cheetham Hill Methodist Church. Read more here.
